Wrong. Mods were anti-hippie. Especially the “hard mod” which went on to become skinheads. Skinheads beat up hippies.
That is…unless you’re talking about peacock mods or the really effeminate types. The hard mods beat these up too.

mod wasnt just black and white, serious or ‘business like’ at all, the beat generation were hippies and people didnt just wear miniskirts OR pants
