Fashions for teens in Australia? (question for Australian Teens)?

im traveling to Sydney, Alice Springs and Cairns (im obviously a tourist)
this summer (my summer in the US)
and i just was wondering what you like to wear and what are the fashion trends there right now (late summer, early fall).
(it would be even better if you were from one of those places 
so tell me where you live in Australia and what you like to wear etc.

we all wear ripped jeans with flano tops and cowboy shoes and ride kangaroos to school!!
lol no….hmm geez. you can get away with most things here. its pretty laid back… so right now im wearing a summery rara skirt with tights and jacket…but honestly. our fashion is just following the american fashion. wear your old stuff and its prob new here cause we are behind a little..
