To be honest there are a lot of equally famous fashion designers not as much as the big list above but i'd say armani, gucci, chanel, dolce and gabbana, versace, louis vuitton just a few of the most famous ones

well if you are gonna be a fashion designer you should proabably know just about every famous designer there is. you shouldnt have to ask that to random people online. but the one most famous is probably Donatella Versache, Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Calvin Klein, or Louis Vuitton

id go with Gabrielle Chanel.
she's been around for a long time…..(not her herself, cause she's dead, but her brand and stuff)

plus she was the most inventive and insightful designers EVER in my opinion.
she brought about the whole popular 20's style that we know and love…..(with the Bobs and the Jersey dresses…..yah, that was her….single handedly….)
