Would you agree people who live their lives based on every single trend in top fashion magazines are no?
different from high school students under grade 12 trying so hard to fit in with the '' in '' crowd? In other words not really knowing what is really important and/or valuing what's important for the right reasons?
I know fashion is nice, however it's ridiculous to think it's cool to spend $500.00 on a designer jacket just about a top fashion magazine advertised it as the '' hottest trend '' on the runways, especially when you're not even as out of middle class financial status.
When you get right down to it, it's sad that those who have such a need and desire for the latest fashion trends are so insecure that they judge their self worth via keeping up with fashion trends. Totally self absorbed IMHO. I've no use for 'trends' it's just the fashion industry hawking their crap with celebs getting freebies and huge discounts to promote that crap.

Well i have always thought that caring about things like that is stupid. There is no reason to spend that much money on something like clothes. Most of those things are ugly anyways..

I buy and wear what I can afford and it's not $500.00 jackets.

This goes much deeper than just fashion!
Look how people tend to follow trends and subcultures in just about every sphere of life! There's no harm in homage or maybe a nod to some esoteria of some sort or other; but it's beyond belief how something which is COMMON becomes a FAD.
Yet – that's why they call them "SHEEPLE".
